Nayabad Mosque

You can see the ancient mosque named Nayad Mosque at Nayabad in Kahorol upazila of Dinajpur district. The location of this mosque is approximately one and a half kilometers south of the Kantanagar temple. It is a rectangular 3-dome mosque. To reach the mosque, there are 3 entrances on the eastern wall and 1 entrance to the north and south. The religious building has 4 octagonal towers in its 4 corners. The decoration of the building is very pleasing. Various designs of the mosque will impress tourists. It is known that in 1793 the mosque was built. It is believed that the architect and craftsmen who came from Persia for the Kantagui Temple in Dinajpur built this mosque. Recently, the mosque has the touch of Persian art. To see the Nawab Mosque, it is about 19 kilometers north of Dinajpur Sadar to go to a place called Nayabad in Kahorol upazila.
